Play at the VA

One of the most beautiful, intimate, and unique ballparks in America, VA Memorial Stadium is not only home to the Chillicothe Paints Baseball Club, but also hundreds of other baseball, softball, soccer, and other events throughout the year. If the weather isn't bad and the Paints aren't playing at home, there is likely another game happening at the VA! Last year, over 300 non-Paints games were played at VA Memorial Stadium.

 

VA Memorial stadium is the best facility of its kind in south-central Ohio. An all FieldTurf playing surface ensures a high quality of playability and minimizes the chances of a rainout. The FieldTurf surface also allows the configuration of the playing field to be changed to accommodate adult baseball, youth baseball, fast-pitch softball, slow-pitch softball, soccer, and other sports.

 

Access to all areas of VA Memorial Stadium are included in your rental, including concessions, heated and cooled team clubhouses, restroom facilities, and a picnic area. Stadium lights are also available if your game is scheduled later in the day.

 

In addition to Paints home games, the stadium has hosted The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) & the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournaments, the OHSBCA Mizuno All-Ohio Series, the Ohio High School Athletic Association District and Regional baseball tournaments, numerous collegiate and high school regular-season baseball and softball games, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Baseball Tournament, and the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Baseball Tournament. Non sporting events that have been held at VA Memorial Stadium include the historic Ralph Bell Crusade in 1997, the Boston Pops Concert in 2003 and the “Be The One” spiritual concert in 2011.
