JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Chillicothe Paints, presented by Adena Health System, went on the road and outlasted the Mill Rats in a 4-1 win at Johnstown's Sargent's Stadium at the Point Friday night.

Chillicothe's (5-3) Gunnar Boehm and Johnstown's (4-5) Matthew Benton were locked into a pitcher's duel, holding the game scoreless through five innings.

The Paints finally broke through in the sixth. Nate Dorinsky singled with one out, advancing to second on a passed ball, later scoring on a single by Tim Orr. The Mill Rats tied the game in the bottom half with a run of their own.

The game stayed tied into the 10th inning. With one out, Jeron Williams entered as pinch hitter, reaching on a throwing error that went out of play, putting him at second base. Williams then stole third. A Santrel Farmer walk put runners on the corners. On a two-strike count, Dorinsky singled to right, scoring Williams. Farmer and Dorinsky moved up to third and second on the throw home. Ben Gbur followed with a two-run single, making it 4-1 Chillicothe.

Johnstown got a couple runners on in the bottom of the ninth on a hit-by-pitch and a walk. Randy Carlo IV hit a sinking line drive to center field that was caught by a diving Gbur. A passed ball moved runners to second and third, but a strikeout and a groundout ended the game with the Paints earning their second straight win.

Boehm got a no decision for his outing, allowing one run on four hits, walking one and striking out seven. Nick Lallathin (3-0) earned the win in relief, allowing just two hits, walking one and striking out one over 3 2/3 innings.
