2023 Roster: Cameron Bowen

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Chillicothe Paints announce the re-signing of infielder Cameron Bowen for the upcoming 2023 season, which begins Wednesday, May 31, on the road against the Lafayette Aviators.

Bowen joins the Paints for a second season after appearing for Chillicothe in 48 games during its Prospect League Championship run last year. The infielder hit .223 with a pair of home runs and 17 RBIs, while providing a steady presence wherever we was stationed on the infield defensivley. He also scored 30 runs and stole 15 bases on 18 tries.

A Williamsburg, Ky., native, Bowen is currently a junior at Lincoln Memorial University. In 90 career games, Bowen owns a .282 batting average with 19 doubles, three triples, seven home runs and 50 RBIs.

The Chillicothe Paints open the home portion of their schedule Thursday, June 1, at VA Memorial Stadium against the Champion City Kings at 7:05 p.m. Draft beer will be just $2 for Thirsty Thursday and fans will be treated to a postgame Fireworks Extravaganza following the game.
