2023 Roster: Cole Kwiatkowski

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The Chillicothe Paints announce the re-signing of Cole Kwiatkowski for the upcoming 2023 season, which begins Wednesday, May 31, on the road against the Lafayette Aviators.

Kwiatkowski, currently in his senior season at the University of Findlay, owns a career .299 batting average through 82 games with the Oilers. The 5-foot-11 infielder has hit 18 doubles, five triples and seven home runs, while driving in 47 runs and stealing 12 bases on 16 attempts. 

After missing the 2022 season due to injury, Kwiatkowski is hitting .276 over 40 games this spring with nine doubles, two triples, two home runs and 26 RBIs, and all 12 of his career stolen bases have come this season on 13 tries. 

A Sylvania, Ohio, native, Kwiatkowski is a graduate of Northview High School.

The Chillicothe Paints open the home portion of their schedule Thursday, June 1, at VA Memorial Stadium against the Champion City Kings at 7:05 p.m. Draft beer will be just $2 for Thirsty Thursday and fans will be treated to a postgame Fireworks Extravaganza, sponsored by 94 Country, following the game.
