Paints Re-Sign Pitcher Landen Vance

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The back-to-back Prospect League champion Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, have re-signed pitcher Landen Vance for the upcoming 2024 season, which begins May 28.

Currently a sophomore at Lake Erie College, Vance has made six relief appearances this spring, collecting one save and striking out two over seven innings. As a freshman in 2023, Vance went 1-1 over 11 relief appearances, grabbing a pair of saves. Vance struck out 12 and walked just five over 16 innings.

The Metamora, Ohio, native pitched mainly in the first-half of the season for the Paints last summer, appearing in nine games out of the bullpen, going 1-0 with 10 strikeouts over 16 1/3 innings.

Prior to playing at Lake Erie, Vance played at Everygreen High School.
