Paints Add Infielder Aidan Hampton From FSCJ

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The back-to-back Prospect League champion Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, have signed infielder Aidian Hampton for the upcoming 2024 season, which begins May 28.

Currently in his freshman season at Florida State College at Jacksonville, Hampton is hitting .245 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs and 11 RBIs through 32 games. He's also 3-3 in stolen bases.

A Fleming Island, Fla. native, Hampton starred at Clay High School in Green Cove Springs, helping the Bulldogs to a 23-7 record in 2023. The infielder was rated a "High Follow" by Perfect Game and was named to the Florida Varsity Top Short Stops list.

Hampton joins FSCJ teammates Cayden Robinson, Alex Monile and Joshua Rouw (who was also Hamptons high school teammate) on this summer's Paints roster.
