Paints Add FSCJ Pitcher Joshua Row

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - The back-to-back Prospect League champion Chillicothe Paints, presented by CohenOrthopedic, have signed pitcher Joshua Rouw for the upcoming 2024 season, which begins May 28.

Joshua recently completed his sophomore season at Florida State College at Jacksonville, appearing in 15 games for the Blue Wave, going 1-2 with four saves and striking out 16 batters over 16 1/3 innings while maintaining a WHIP under 2.

Rouw is a Green Cove Springs, Fla., native and a graduate of Clay High School. While at Clay, Rouw was the closer and starting middle infielder for the team. He recorded a 0.49 ERA and a .122 opponent batting average. The right-handed pitcher was chosen to play in the FACA All-Star Game as a pitcher. FSCJ and Paints teammate Aidan Hampton was on the same team at Clay High School with Rouw.
